Specializing in traditional Vietnamese banh mi, this charming sandwich shop pairs the heritage flavors of Saigon’s street food with the high-quality ingredients and fresh-baked rolls that make every bite a memorable experience.
The star of Duc Huong’s menu is undoubtedly their range of banh mi sandwiches, each thoughtfully crafted to balance savory meats, crisp vegetables, and aromatic herbs. Don’t miss the Grilled Pork Banh Mi or the Grilled Chicken Banh Mi, which both come highly recommended by customers for their perfectly seasoned, tender fillings and that signature crunch from the fresh artisan bread. For those with a taste for something bold and spicy, the Spicy Korean Pork Sandwich delivers a lively kick, while the Classic Combination Banh Mi offers a satisfying medley of cold cuts and traditional Vietnamese flavors. Vegetarian options like the Banh Mi Rau Khong and Banh Mi Chay showcase thoughtful plant-based fillings that never compromise on flavor or texture.
Beyond the sandwiches, the drink selection complements the menu beautifully. Indulge in a refreshing Vietnamese Iced Coffee (Cafe Sua Da), where the robust, slightly sweet coffee paired with velvety condensed milk provides the perfect contrast to the savory sandwiches. For a unique twist, try one of the house-special beverages, such as Mu Chom or the Sam Bo Luong Che, which add a delightful, authentic touch to your meal.

Diners often highlight the freshness of the bread, praising its crisp crust and soft interior, which forms the perfect base for a harmonious, flavor-packed bite. Even when brought home and reheated, the sandwich retains its delicious integrity, a testament to the kitchen’s commitment to quality.

Great Vietnamese sandwiches! Gets crowded, but the line moves pretty quickly. Definitely worth the wait. Would recommend grilled pork and grilled chicken. The quality is amazing for the price. One of the best around.
Stopped by Duc Huong Sandwich around 7:30pm on a weekday, it wasn’t busy and there were still plenty of banh mi and other food options. We grabbed a cold cut combo to go. Even eaten the next day, it was delicious! The bun stayed crunchy after a quick reheat, and it was loaded with flavorful meats and fresh, tangy pickles. Also loved the purple sweet rice yogurt; it was thick like Greek yogurt, with chewy, not-too-sweet rice. Ate it while waiting! Definitely recommend.
The sandwiches here are great! The rolls are always fresh and the service is quick despite there always being a line out the door. I recommend the grilled pork and spicy Korean pork. There is also a deal where if you buy 4 you get 1 free.
Ordered different types...grilled pork, bbq pork, spicy korean pork, grilled chicken and grilled pork with egg (omlette style). I bet it would be delicious if the egg was sunny side up but it would make a mess. People were ordering bread, as much as they can carry and i figured out why. It was soft and freshly bake. A solid foundation for a great banh mi Only option is to get it togo. The customers come in waves (10am) but orders get fulfilled quickly. If youre not eating it within the hour, would recommend getting the banh mi vegetables on the side so the banh mi doesnt get soggy.
Been wanting to try this spot out for a while and finally got the chance last week. It's always a good sign when a place has a long line, and Duc Huong was no exception. Last week I got the grilled pork and it was amazing. Season perfectly. Veggies were fresh and the crunch on the outside of that roll, excellent. This week I went with the barbecue pork and it was just as good. I was so tempted to get one of the pork belly sandwiches but I'll save that for next time I'm around. Did I mention their sandwiches are eight bucks for a large!? Yes , 8 bucks. Do not sleep on this place. It's definitely a go-to for me whenever I'm in the area
⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Solid, recommended (1=Avoid, 3=Standard, 5=Can't miss) and probably one of the best deals in terms of price and what you get. The chargrilled flavor of the meat that you get here is great and at $8 a sandwich (for most of the items) I would come back again when I am in the area. Haven't tried any of the drinks, but in past visits we did have some of the snacks and grabbed extra rolls, but feel like you can skip them and just grab more sandwiches especially if you buy at least four to get one free! Parking is a bit of a hassle, but don't sweat the line, it moves pretty quickly.
Note: ask to put vegetables separately to eat later. Large size: ask to cut them in half. Great taste and service! Second time here! Spent around 20 USD for two people:) large sandwich is 8 dollars. U can ask to put veggie separately so u can eat later :) my order was 1. Grilled pork large sandwich (2orders) and 6 sesame balks. Each one was 75 cents. Sesame balls were bit hard……
Absolutely delicious banh mi! I ordered the cold cut sandwich with garlic bread and it tasted just amazing. The line moved quickly but I waited so long for my order. I politely asked the lady at the window when my sandwich would be ready and she said “wait for your number” even though my order was right there. No seating, it’s takeout only. They had an assortment of other Vietnamese snacks too. Overall while service could be better I will still be back to try the other banh mi!
